You are royal priests,
a holy nation,
God’s very own possession.
As a result,
you can show others
the goodness of God,
for he called you
out of the darkness
into his wonderful light.
“Once you had no identity as a people.
Now you are God’s people.”

The first step to becoming
a leader in God’s Kingdom
is to receive God’s invitation
to a life lived for him.
In the Song Of The Vineyard,
this life is described as
the rich and fertile hill –
a place of great opportunity
and good, hard work.
We receive this by saying “yes”
to Jesus as Lord and Savior;
by saying “yes” to what he calls us to do.
And with this “yes” comes
new identity and new purpose.
For Kingdom leaders,
it is paramount that we understand
that Jesus is not only our rescuer,
but our God. Therefore, when we
say “yes” to him, it means we’re
not only receiving a new life,
we’re also agreeing to live that life his way.
Ask yourself:
“Who does God say that I am
according to 1 Peter 2:9-10?”
“What is my purpose in this season?”
“Do I receive and accept this opportunity”
Every leader must
learn to hear what God is saying
and do what he is asking.
