My favorite stanza
from the new
Twenty One Pilots song,
Jumpsuit, is this:

“If you need anyone
I’ll stop my plans
But you’ll have to tie me down
and then break both my hands”

That’s the Gospel
according to Twenty One Pilots.
That’s the Gospel
according to the Bible.
That’s the Gospel
according to God’s Son
dying on a cross for our sins.

We need someone to save us.
And that Someone
was tied down for our sins.
That Someone was broken
for our brokenness.
That Someone was Jesus Christ.

So, how do we receive that rescue?

Romans 10:9-10
9 If you openly DECLARE
that Jesus is Lord
and BELIEVE in your heart
that God raised him from the dead,
you will be saved.
10 For it is by BELIEVING in your heart
that you are made right with God,
and it is by openly DECLARING
your faith that you are saved.

Believe and declare
that Jesus Christ is your Savior,
and you will be saved.
