I remind you to fan into flames
the spiritual gift God gave you
when I laid my hands on you.
For God has not given us
a spirit of fear and timidity,
but of power, love, and self-discipline.

To cut with care or precision.
The sixth step to becoming
a leader in God’s Kingdom
is carving a winepress.
In The Song Of The Vineyard,
the winepress is where
the fruit from the vineyard
is transformed into something
useful, profitable, and good.
To carve a winepress means
refining what we’ve been given.
Every person on this planet
is born with inherent talents.
These talents are to be used
and perfected in order to:
provide for ourselves,
provide for our families,
and give back to our community.
Likewise, when we are reborn in Christ,
we are given new, supernatural gifts.
These gifts are to be used
and perfected in order to:
make disciples,
bless the church,
and glorify God.
Every leader must
be aware of their talents and gifts,
and work hard to use and perfect them.
