The Good News according to Jesus (& tøp)
is that we’ve each been given the power
to “change the way we think.”
The war for our souls is being waged
in the battlefield of our minds.
In order to change the way we think,
we need to take back control
of our thoughts.
Consider – every grim notion,
every sad conclusion –
they all begin and end in our minds.
Therefore, we need to recapture
those thoughts; subdue their hopelessness.
We do this by focusing on the good;
by fixing our thoughts on whatever is
true, noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable,
excellent, and worthy of praise.
