James 5:15-18
If you’ve sinned, you’ll be forgiven—
healed inside and out.
So, make this your common practice:
Confess your sins to each other
and pray for each other
so that you can live together
whole and healed.
The prayer of a person
living in obedience to God
produces wonderful results.
Elijah was as flawed as we are,
and yet when he prayed earnestly
that no rain would fall,
none fell for three and a half years!
Then, when he prayed again,
the sky sent down rain
and produced a harvest.
