Proverbs 18:20-21
Wise words satisfy the mind
as much as fruit satisfies the stomach.
The right words produce a good harvest.
Never forget, our words can give life,
or our words can kill;
they either produce fruit or poison.
The choice is yours.

As the carpenter teaches us
to measure twice and cut once,
so wisdom teaches us
to think twice and speak once.
A set of questions to ask yourself
before speaking:
First, “Is this the right word?”
Second, “Is this the right time?”
