So here’s David.
The warrior poet.
Mighty in battle.
Wise in war.
Leader of men.
Kingdom builder.
Nation maker.
Rich beyond measure
in people, places, and things.
And his greatest desire
in all the world
is to read a Book.
To soak in Truth.
To sit with God.
Jesus, give us hearts like David’s.
