Jesus, help us rid our life of selfish and foolish anger. Help us uncover and then nourish the words you have planted in our hearts. Rid our hearts of anything else except for truth. Help us be still and patiently listen for these truths. Empty our minds of everything else so that we may listen to these beautiful words. Remind us of how beautiful and profound these simple truths are. And then make these words renew our beliefs…redeem our feelings…reorient our behavior…and render new actions…Jesus, Refresh our souls. Amen
I asked a friend what they needed most from God this week. She said, “To see myself how God see me.”
I held out a handful of Sevenapples cards, and this was the one she pulled. “See Yourself.”
