Notice The Broken
Psalm 51:16-17
You do not desire a sacrifice, Lord,
or I would offer one.
You do not want a burnt offering.
The sacrifice you desire
is a broken spirit.
A broken-hearted life
ready for love
will never escape your notice.
COMMENTARY
Just like David,
we all make mistakes.
We all have hidden hurts.
We’re all broken people.
And thank God…
we all have a Savior.
Who, no matter what,
says to us each day:
I see you.
I see your mistakes.
I see your shame.
And I love you.
I will always love you.
Just tell me where it hurts.
Friend, your brokenness
is welcome with Jesus.
