Isaiah 46:3-4
I have created you
and carried you
since you were born.
Yes, when you were still in the womb,
I was taking care of you.
I will be your God
throughout your lifetime.
Even when you are old,
I will still be there,
carrying you in my arms.
I have created you
and carried you
since you were born.
Yes, when you were still in the womb,
I was taking care of you.
I will be your God
throughout your lifetime.
Even when you are old,
I will still be there,
carrying you in my arms.
COMMENTARY
“Christianity seeks after God
with the most elementary passion it can find;
the craving for a father,
the hunger that is as old as the hills.
It turns a whole cry of a lost universe
into the cry of a lost child.”
~GK Chesterton
