1 John 1:3-4
We share what we
have seen and heard
so that you, too,
will be connected with us,
and become family.
Our family is united
by our connection with the Father
and his Son, Jesus.
We share our stories
so that you may share our joy.
THE VINEYARD INITIATIVE
Step 5 of 7: Build
To make something by putting parts together.
The fifth step to becoming
a leader in God’s Kingdom
is to build something that lasts.
In The Song Of The Vineyard,
after the farmer establishes his vineyard,
he builds a watchtower in the center of it.
The watchtower is built with the stones
previously removed from the land.
Therefore, each stone represents
a different lesson learned.
Leaders who take time to gather
and consider mistakes made
and hardships overcome
find themselves built up
in the strength and stability of wisdom.
Like a strong watchtower,
leaders who celebrate and share their lessons
carry a strong sense of peace,
safety, and perspective wherever they go.
And, because a strong watchtower
is built to hold more than one person,
leaders recognize their responsibility
to teach others what they have learned.
Every leader must
be continually building their watchtower
by learning from their experiences,
and pouring into others.
