EXCERPT FROM JUMPSUIT SERMON
The reality of the spirit world
is all around us.
If you want to see it,
you just need to look.
And what will we see?
That we’re living in darkness.
That we need to turn
from darkness to light;
from the power of Satan
to the power of God
What is the “darkness”
we need to turn from?
Our brokenness.
Our slavery to sin.
Anything the enemy aggravates
to fuel our fear, shame, and hate.
What’s the “light”
we need to turn to?
Wholeness.
Freedom from sin.
The things God uses to fuel
our love, joy, and peace.
So, how do we “turn?”
We repent.
We change the way we think
We choose to accept the fact
that we’re NOT alone down here.
Evil is real.
Demons are real.
Satan is real.
And thank God,
we’ve all been given a way out
through Jesus Christ.
Lord, open our spiritual eyes.
Save our souls!
