I Forgot About The Drought

Matthew 9:35-38
Jesus traveled through
all the towns and villages of that area.
He taught in their meeting places,
reported kingdom news,
and healed their diseased bodies,
healed their bruised and hurt lives.
When he looked out over the crowds,
his heart broke.
They were confused and aimless,
like sheep with no shepherd.
He said to his disciples,
“The harvest is great,
but the workers are few.
So pray to the Lord
who is in charge of the harvest;
ask him to send more workers
into his fields.”

Three lights are lit,
but the fourth one’s out

I can tell ’cause it’s a bit darker
than the last night’s bout
I forgot about the drought
of light bulbs in this house

So I head out
down a route I think is heading south
