If a new identity is available to us,
few names could be better claimed
than “Clancy.”
The name Clancy means:
Son of The Red Warrior.
And who is The Red Warrior,
the bloody warrior of the Christian faith?
It is Christ on the cross.
Moreover, the primary colors
for the Clancy coat of arms are red,
denoting martyrdom and strength,
and silver, denoting peace and sincerity.
And who was martyred in strength,
delivering peace and sincerity
to all who would have it?
Again, it is Christ on the cross.
Lastly, Clancy is also short for Clarence.
Clarence is a Latin name meaning Clear.
