Ephesians 1:16-18
I haven’t stopped
thanking God for you.
I am continually speaking to him
on your behalf in my prayers.
Here’s what I say:
“God of our Lord Jesus,
Father of Glory,
I call out to you
on behalf of your people.
Give them minds ready to receive
wisdom and revelation
so they will truly know you.
I pray that their hearts
will be flooded with light
so that they can understand
the confident hope
you have given to those you called—
your holy people—
who are your rich
and glorious inheritance.”
