Ephesians 4:21-27
If you’ve really experienced Jesus
and heard his truth,
it will be seen in your life.
So throw off your old sinful nature
and your former way of life,
which is corrupted by lust and deception.
Instead, let the Spirit renew
your thoughts and attitudes.
Put on your new nature,
created to be like God—
truly righteous and holy.
Discard every form of dishonesty
so that you will be known as one
who always speaks the truth,
for we all belong to one another.
Don’t let the passion of your emotions
lead you to sin!
Don’t let anger control you,
not even for a day,
for anger gives the devil a foothold.
