John 12:12-13
The next day,
a great crowd of people
who had come to the festival
heard that Jesus
was coming to Jerusalem;
so they gathered
branches of palm trees
to wave as they celebrated His arrival.
A large crowd of Passover visitors
began shouting,
“Hosanna!
Blessed is he
who comes in the name of the Lord!
Hail to the King of Israel!”
