Twenty One Pilots
An ongoing sermon series that considers the hope
beneath the lyrics of these songs that speak to souls.
Pick Who You Serve
Breach will be the title of Twenty One Pilots 8th studio album, Breach. What are the definitions of this incredibly versatile word? And how might those definitions have fueled the hidden invitation in the album cover art?
Are You In Breach?
As we approach the final two weeks before the release of the first single off Twenty One Pilots’ 8th album, we look at the hidden invitations in the new cover art as well as the amazingly applicable definitions of what it means to Breach. We also share our bold hope of where we believe the next chapter of Clancy and Torchbearer’s story will lead.

6. Disagree With Evil
7. Speak Truth To Power

Paladin Strait / Part 2 of 2
In this second of two sermons on Paladin Strait, we exegete the visuals of this dynamic music video to reveal a battle that every soul must fight.
Some of the questions answered in this sermon are: Where does our battle take place? How are we called to fight? What are our weapons?
The Line
Years ago when Tyler Joseph was asked about the meaning of Twenty One Pilots logo, he responded, “I feel that humans are always struggling all the time when it comes to purpose. Trying to figure out their purpose. What purpose even is. The logo… what it really means… it’s an encouragement. When someone asks me what the logo means to me, the logo means something to me because I made it mean something to me. That’s the point. The point is that I created something that only I understand and whether or not I decide to disclose the meaning of it, that’s the beginning of purpose for me.”
The Line Meets Full Of Eyes
The music video for The Line by Twenty One Pilots released this week in collaboration with the Netflix show, Arcane.
Never Take It (2024 Version)
In Isaiah 1, the Lord cries out on behalf of his people, “Your heads are injured and your hearts are sick.” Put another way, “You’re not thinking straight and your feelings can’t be trusted.”
Routines In The Night
As we look at the lyrics of Routines In The Night through the lens of Scripture we discover several helpful disciplines to apply to those dark nights of the soul we all know. And, if we look a little deeper, we find a powerful exhortation to do whatever it takes to stay awake regarding the spiritual realities of this present darkness.
Snap Back
To Snap Back means “to recover quickly and easily from a period of difficulty.” As we walk through the lyrics of this exceptional song we hope to help listeners ask and answer a simple question, “Where in your life do you need to snap back?”
