Sahlo Folina = Come, Holy Spirit
Tyler has stated that “Sahlo Folina”
is what Banditos cry out
when they need help.
Sahlo = the Somali word for “enable”.
Folina = a name representing
someone who stands for
freedom, creativity, and joy.
So, when Banditos sing out, “Sahlo Folina”,
they’re asking for someone to help them
enable freedom, creativity, and joy.
Believers do the same thing
when they cry out, “Come Holy Spirit”.
