Romans 13:8
Don’t owe anyone anything,
with the exception of love.
That is a debt that never ends.
The person who loves others
has fulfilled the essence of God’s law.

If I am willing to sign such a contract
guaranteeing payment on some wood
and shingles for the rest of my life,
surely I should be willing to make
a similar commitment toward loving
others during my short time on earth?
