1 Peter 5:8-11
Be disciplined and stay alert.
Your enemy the devil
is prowling around
and poised to pounce;
he’s looking for someone to devour.
Stand firm against him.
Be strong in your faith.
Remember
that your brothers and sisters
around the world experience
the same kind of troubles you endure.
After you have suffered a little while,
the God of all grace, who has called you
to share in his eternal glory in Christ,
will personally and powerfully
restore you
and make you stronger than ever.
Yes, he will set you firmly in place
and build you up.
And he has all the power needed
to do this—forever!
